11:30am Workout 1:
First and foremost thank goodness I started off doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred! I think that if I had started with Jillian Michaels Body Revolution I probably would have given up because I would not have been at the fitness level needed. With that being said, I had so much fun with this workout. I really, really like her attitude in this one a lot better than the 30 day shred. She seems more focused on helping you get through the workout with very encouraging words. The dynamics between her and the many other people working out is really funny and makes for a fun workout. I’m sure once I’ve heard the same joke 3 times it will not be as funny but for now I really like it.
This workout had a lot of weight training in it. Doing the 30 Day Shred I used 5 pound weights but with this workout I’m using 10 pounds. I’m happy to report that I was able to do everything and I mean everything without stopping. Now, that doesn’t mean it was easy by any means; just that my fitness level has definitely increased.
I’m really excited to see the results from the kickstart week. I still have one more workout to do later tonight. Debating on whether to do it right when Steve gets home or after dinner we will see. I am saving this as a draft and then once I’m done with my other workout today will post this whole thing…see you soon!
I’ve never been a fan of cardio and I’m still not LOL. I’m just happy that this is only about 22 minutes long. Again, Jillian is a lot more encouraging and a lot more fun. The people that she has working out have great personalities and make the workout fly by. I thought a couple of times I might pass out or throw up but I pushed through that.
All together I’ve burned 800 calories today, which is totally crazy but feels so GOOD!
I’M TIRED NOW!

I love your ‘Free Birds’ reference. And I can’t wait to see how this program goes.
